Morning on the Island

 hmmm.  lovely morning.  here i am looking at some foliage which really has grabbed my attention.

Pink Bunnies

first i would like to give a shout out to Uncle Rob for donating the WeeRide.  it really is super cool.  way better than riding in the back, i can see everything!  my dad's 29'er makes for a really smooth ride.  disc brakes make is safe too.

finally my parents got my pink helmet - Pink Bunnies!  i was riding around for a week with a blue one.  dressed in pink wearing a blue helmet??? 

Gymnastics

 Time for gymnastics!  i was supposed to be in a beginning class, but not enough little babies.  so i got bumped up to the older babies class.

 so close to crawling it is not even funny.  any day now.  any minute actually.

 here i am in the foam pit.   interestingly you cannot wear socks in the foam pit.  the foam blocks will actually suck the socks right off your feet.  no joke.

trampoline!  strangely enough they are called "Eurotramps".  dad thought it was funny anyway...

Wilderness Hike

 dad has me all set up in my new hiking backpack.   what a hassle.  had to special order red to keep mommy happy!  as you can see,  i am all bundled up - cold and windy out there.  you can also see a very determined look in my eyes!

 this is actually part of the trail that we were hiking on.  looks like some pretty thick foliage.  but we went for it.

this was a strange rock outcroping that we found.  the wonders of erosion!

I love the pool!

 you can see how much i enjoy the water.  the first time my parents took me to the pool they had me in a regular diaper.  morons...  actually it was my dads idea.  i cried and cried.  it was like the biggest wettest diaper ever!

now the parents have wised up.  lil' swimmers!

full baller pad here.  infinity pool.  right on the green of this par three.  if you look behind me you can see the lake.  if you are scared of the water on your tee shot - you can bail out left and hope for par!

did i mention loving the pool?

Uncle Stephen's LX

 here i am in the back of my uncle Stephen's LX 450.  my dad helped find this bad boy.  we are getting it ready to ship out to the east coast.  it is sort of filthy back here but overall, it is a true diamond in the rough.  just remember that carpet can always be cleaned.

 a close up shot.  look at how my eyes sparkle!  that leather back there is looking good too...  interesting looking back at these pictures.  i am not wearing bids anymore.

First Trip to Italy

 this was when we were flying to London.  the sweet hammock like device i am in is called a "Fly Baby".  comfy.  so comfy in fact that with all the white noise in the plane it was an easy flight for me!!!

 here is my cousin Rebecca's school.  daddy went down to see the Italian school system in action.  look at all the parents!  all the way down the block.  teacher will not even let the students go unless they make eye contact with the parent.  secure.

 this is the view from the patio of my friend Francesco's house.  excellent no?

 in Belluno i was so hungry i tried to eat my auntie's face!

one of mom's favorite places - Firenze.  this is the boar.  rub his nose and you will have good luck.  let's hope so.

My First Time at the Golf Course

it was a cold and windy day.  this grass feels strange.  maybe the wind is why my dad never seems to hit the ball straight?

A Nature Outing

finally my parents popped for a DSLR camera.  i think we can all agree that the pics are much better now.  top:  we have me in my stroller.  middle:  a crowned sparrow.  bottom:  Heron in flight.

TSR

we can't really talk to much about this place.  it is pretty special.  natural beauty.  the stroller is useless here, as the trails are too narrow and bumpy.  lots of wildlife and beautiful views.  how about those mushrooms???  Porchini!

First Time Off Road

these trails are normally reserved for hikers, coyotes, mountain lions, and mountain bikers.  dad thought we could thrash about in the stroller.  i know, dad was shooting these pics with a point and shoot.  just not getting the job done.

Surf Check

daddy really can't surf while watching me.  so, we came down to check the surf together.  daddy said something about high tide.

Learning by doing

daddy gave me some scissors to test out.  not a problem since i am not very good at running yet.

Kitchen Time

we got it all right here.  gas stove.  toaster - plugged in!  knives.  and beer...

Day One
